Horizon Architecture House Ensemble

Best Project of Private Residence
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The house is designed as a system of dynamics and flows, open to nature, where every detail emphasizes the connection between humans and their environment.
The 970 sq.m residential house for a large family in the Moscow Region is conceived as a unified architectural ensemble consisting of several volumes connected by canopies, terraces, and passages.
The main idea is “House as a Landscape Composition”: the architecture does not oppose nature but becomes its continuation. The scale and proportions of the buildings are chosen so that the house appears as a natural part of the forest surroundings, preserving as much greenery on the site as possible, each volume with its own composition.
The stylistic solution is based on minimalism and European aesthetics: simple forms, clean lines, play of light, natural materials. Each volume has its own meaning and function, creating dynamics, yet together they form a coherent image of the house.
The philosophy of the project is free movement and unity: the house becomes an extension of nature, and nature becomes part of the structure.
