About the project (provided by the applicant)
The main idea of the project is a reinterpretation of the traditional image of an Orthodox church through the lens of contemporary architecture and symbolic imagery.
The spatial and volumetric composition represents a concise monolithic form associated with an icy iceberg — a symbol of eternity, purity, and the steadfastness of faith. The plasticity of the façades and the play of light create the impression of a light, floating cloud — an image of spirituality, divine presence, and the connection between heaven and earth.
This approach makes it possible to create a unique and memorable architectural object that combines external simplicity and clarity of form with profound symbolic meaning and emotional expression.
