About the project
Ivan Kudryashov (1896 — 1972) is a major Russian Avant-Garde artists, a painter, a graphic artist, a scene designer and a teacher. The exhibition in the Tretyakov Gallery is the first and the most complete retrospective of his works. One of the main exhibits is the reconstruction of the Suprematist model of the Orenburg Theater (scale 1:5).
Expositionally, the venue features the interiors of a villa owned by an imaginary collector of Kudryashov’s art.
