Library “Kaleidoteka” at GAOU “Innopolis Lyceum”

Best Design Project for Library

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The modern school library is not only a place for storing books but also for communication and knowledge exchange. The project’s aesthetic is inspired by the kaleidoscope—a device that creates unusual and constantly changing patterns.

Library “Kaleidoteka” is a place where each reader, as if looking into a kaleidoscope of the world of knowledge, forms their own body of knowledge, worldview, and perspective. Each zone is designed like a fragment of a kaleidoscope, combining to create a unique space.

The interior is based on the signature colors of Innopolis Lyceum. The design offers a fresh perspective on the current layout of the space. Each library zone has its own color identity, creating an atmosphere suited for different moods and activities.

Today, the library serves as a place for meetings, exhibitions, and collaborative work. It is also a cozy space, especially important for students living at the Lyceum. “Kaleidoteka” functions as a “Lyceum living room,” potentially becoming a favorite spot for all students.
