Project
Preschool Educational Facility for 240 Children with Atrium

Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The building, shaped as a rounded triangle, creates a dynamic and safe architectural presence. The center of the composition is a spacious atrium with a multi-level interactive play and creativity area, connecting children through exploration and movement.

The atrium serves a dual function: the natural ventilation and air recirculation system ensures a healthy microclimate, while the skylight fills the space with soft diffused light, visually expanding the interior boundaries.

The project emphasizes physical development, providing areas for physical education, active games, and rehabilitation programs. An inclusive approach is implemented through adapted routes, sensory zones, and equipment accessible to children with diverse abilities. Safe materials, ergonomic furniture, and well-planned navigation create an environment where every child feels comfortable.
