Project
Monochrome Interior in Iset Park Residential Complex
Category
Best Implemented Façade or Interior Project Using Ceramics
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The clients, a young couple, invited me to design a 60 sq. m apartment (47 sq. m of project space, excluding the balcony and children’s room, which were only finished with base materials). Since the apartment is small and each square meter has a high functional load, it was important to create a unified visual narrative with connecting elements and solutions that smoothly transition from one space to another.
A key design decision was the use of single-color porcelain stoneware throughout all non-living rooms: on the floors in the hallway, corridor, and wardrobe; on the kitchen floor, backsplash, and countertop (sink also made of porcelain stoneware); and on the floors and walls in the bathroom. This approach made the interior cohesive, comfortable on a sensory level, and became the defining stylistic element of the apartment.
