About the project (provided by the applicant)
Izba Nova is an attempt to reinterpret the classical image of the traditional Russian wooden house in a contemporary architectural context.
“Izba” symbolizes roots, a connection with Russian architectural tradition, the wooden house as a foundation of culture. “Nova” indicates renewal and modernity, reflecting the use of minimalist forms and up-to-date architectural solutions.
The estate was designed for a family of entrepreneurs and woodworking masters. The inherited izba became the basis for the architectural concept. The complex consists of several blocks: “Izba” — a house for the elder generation, “Garage-workshop” for the head of the family, and “House” for the young family with children.
