Izhora Shore

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The concept of the improvement project is based on dividing the Tosna River shoreline into two functional zones — urban and tourist. The main objectives of the project are the sustainable development of the territory and the integration of these areas through a system of pedestrian bridges.

The zone oriented toward local residents is designed as an urban embankment with year-round attractions, as the area is surrounded by residential buildings and socially significant facilities.

The historical presence of the Finno-Ugric ethnic group made it possible to reflect the cultural and ethnic code in the planning structure of the art cluster. Based on this idea, a route was created that links the main traditional activities of the Izhora people with corresponding functional areas and points of attraction.
