About the project (provided by the applicant)
The design concept for Jaipur Rugs is a harmonious fusion of tradition and contemporary sensibilities, crafted to reflect the brand's deep-rooted connection to Indian craftsmanship & global design excellence. The linear plan has been conceptualized as an immersive journey that guides visitors through a curated storytelling environment — blending heritage craft with thoughtful spatial engagement. Inside, the space transforms into a sanctuary for handmade rugs. Rug textures define key activity zones while maintaining an open, breathable layout. Palette of earthy tones, warm reds, sandstone toned textures & brass accents draw from Jaipur's natural landscapes. Every detail in the space echoes the brand ethos — heritage meets innovation, craft meets contemporary. This is not just a retail experience, it's a narrative space where each visitor is invited to step into the world of Jaipur Rugs to witness the soul of hand-knotted art and the legacy it carries forward.
