About the project (provided by the applicant)
A multifunctional park on the site of the former Mitrofanyevskoye Cemetery, based on the philosophy of kintsugi, the Japanese art of restoration, symbolizing careful respect for historical heritage.

Key goals of the project include ecological restoration, creation of a green framework, and completion of Izmailovsky Boulevard to form a unified complex of public spaces.

To achieve these goals, the park is divided into seven thematic zones: active recreation, food court, entertainment, applied and educational clusters, arboretum, and memorial area. This zoning offers visitors diverse opportunities for leisure activities: from sports and creative pursuits to quiet relaxation and exploring the history of the site.

The landscape concept emphasizes the restoration of the natural ecosystem using local plants. The new park will become an important element of the urban environment, meeting the needs of the developing district.
