About the project
The building was designed for a site previously called Horse Square, used to be a trading site for selling hay and oats for horses. Today, this square is in disrepair, and the customer wanted to breath in new life into it in accordance with the historical context. The new building is a roofed market place designed as a horse stable. In the ground floor, stores are located as pennages. The first floor contains a café and a sight-seeing platform. The roof features four hyberbolic paraboloids – all the structures are straigt besides the bracing and the shingle cladding.
