The reconstruction of the former Priboy cinema building, originally built in 1966, was made possible thanks to the City’s Targeted Investment Program. PSB Zhilstroy Company began work in 2022, and for three years carefully and diligently created a comfortable, multifunctional, and creative venue for the residents and guests of St. Petersburg.
Now the five-story building houses a large and a small auditorium (1,007 and 162 seats) with modern high-tech equipment and a transformer stage, choreography and demonstration halls, dressing rooms, a TV studio, museums of rock culture and media mechanics, a café, a panoramic restaurant, and a spacious foyer with a multimedia screen. The team managed to preserve the historical concept of the building’s volume while nearly doubling its area to 7,700 sq. m. The Center will host concerts, exhibitions, festivals, theatrical performances, lectures, film screenings, and other cultural and educational events.
