Project
Architectural Lighting of the Sergey Kuryokhin Center for Contemporary Art

Category
Best Implemented Architectural Lighting Project in Russia

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The façade lighting of the Sergey Kuryokhin Center for Contemporary Art was designed to highlight the building’s dynamic architecture and its unique role in the cultural life of St. Petersburg. The concept is based on the idea of “living light,” reflecting Kuryokhin’s experimental spirit and the atmosphere of contemporary art. Linear luminaires with smooth brightness control are integrated into the façade architecture without disrupting its geometry and proportions. The system makes it possible to adjust color temperature and lighting scenarios for specific events, exhibitions, and festivals, turning the façade into an interactive element of the urban environment and a visual marker of the cultural space.
