About the project
“La Maloca” kitesurfing school, located in the idyllic Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, proposes a sustainable and landscape-friendly solution to the constant advance of expansive tourism.
The project is inspired by the maloca indigenous construction, traditional in South America. These are made entirely with plant elements available in the area and within them. The social cohesion of the town is strengthened.

Applicant and author of the project
Francesc Munné Graña
Architect graduated from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Valencia (ETSAV) in 2018 and Master's Degree from the same (ETSAV) in 2020. «During my period at the university, I was selected by the ETSA of Valencia to participate in several intensive national and international workshops. I am focused on 3D modelling, rendering and post-production, although I am also proficient in 2D. On the other hand, I am highly motivated by research, analysis and intervention in historical remains.»
