For nearly a century, the oldest cavalry school of the Russian Empire was located on Lermontovsky Prospekt. Its building is a protected cultural heritage site. PIK preserved and restored the historic building, transforming it into a modern educational space that maintains a connection to the city’s history.
Historical interiors are designed to spark children’s interest in the past, while studying at the school helps them envision their future. The project created an inspiring educational environment with specialized classrooms and equipment for robotics programs. A swimming pool was added, connected to the main building through a glass atrium. Historical spaces were preserved while making them fully functional to meet all modern school requirements.
