About the project
This library center is a synthesis of a library and an art venue, a laboratory of contemporary art. It was decided to make this project as the community here is rapidly developing. The key objective of the project is making it open to everyone, but the authors also wanted the city to get a new library. The facility is designed in close proximity to the most beautiful parks, and this is highlighted by the light Nordic style with eco-design elements. At the entrance, there’s a panel with dried moss, which is to remind the visitors about the library’s connection with nature. Besides the reading premises, the project comprises a tailoring co-working and a public workshop.
