Project
Experimental Model of a Cultural and Leisure Complex as a Media-Architecture Object in the Paramonov Warehouses
Category
Best Student Restoration or Reconstruction Project
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The integrated approach to incorporating media architecture within the Paramonov Warehouses involves the use of lightweight structures, glass walls and coverings, the introduction of a distinctive new building against the backdrop of the historic architectural ensemble, and the creation of underground spaces.
The design principle for working with the ruins of the Paramonov Warehouses uses the existing walls as the main volume and element, while new glass structures act as protection from precipitation for the ruined object, complementing the composition.
The tourist appeal of the Paramonov Warehouses territory is enhanced through the creation of a multifunctional space combining recreational, entertainment, communication, and educational functions, achieved through multimedia elements and media-architecture design solutions.
