About the project (provided by the applicant)
This diploma project proposes the revitalization of the 19th-century Arakcheev Barracks Complex through the creation of a modern sanatorium and resort facility. The focus is on musculoskeletal treatment using local therapeutic muds. A key principle is inclusivity: historic buildings are adapted for people with limited mobility, and the landscape includes therapeutic gardens and routes (hippotherapy, terrain therapy). Additional functions (farm, cheese-making facility) aim to promote sustainable development of the area and the revival of the village.
