Project
Multifunctional Pavilion
Category
Best Architectural Project Created with Hand-Drawn Graphics
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The urban context with its forests and river inspired the idea: an organic wooden pavilion with flowing forms, as if “growing from the ground,” standing in contrast to the rigidity of the city.
Functionally, the pavilion is divided into three interconnected volumes:
- “Heart” — the auditorium: a large, rounded volume providing ideal acoustics and a connection to the landscape through expansive windows.
- “Artery” — the transit zone: a bright gallery-foyer with panoramic glazing.
- “Foundation” — the technical zone: a compact, enclosed volume concealed behind a curved wall, accommodating storage, equipment, and restrooms.
