About the project
This center is designed in the site of the whole-sale market. The author believes that the mono-functional part played by the market affects the city’s infrastructure, so he offers a renovation that will result in a comfortable and contemporary urban environment. The designed facility comprises two volumes. The arched one with a museum and a food hall is based on the existing hangar of the ex-market and is curved toward the second rectangular unit, which houses the auditorium, the cooking studios, and the media library.
