Mini Oasis in the Heart of Moscow

Best Implemented Apartment / Private House Interior Design Project

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The inspiration and starting point for this project was the TV series Friends with Monica’s bright and cozy living room. The client wanted to create a fusion-style space that would feel welcoming after a walk through the grey autumn streets. This apartment is not the owner's main residence, but an alternative to staying in hotels in central Moscow. Within just 20 sq.m, the design includes everything needed for a comfortable stay: a full-sized foldaway bed with an orthopedic mattress hidden in the wall during the day, a bathroom with a shower, a concealed laundry area with household storage, and even a cozy lounge nook that replaced the windowsill, with the radiator relocated to the wall.
The 3.5 sq.m kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, 2-in-1 microwave oven, a pull-out two-burner cooktop, storage cabinets, and a dishwasher, adding to the overall comfort.
The result is a truly functional and original interior for two.
