The building is an example of a late 19th-century residential and commercial house, located in the historic center of Minusinsk. The architecture reflects provincial eclecticism.
The restoration project included a comprehensive set of works aimed at recreating the historical appearance of the building while adapting it for use as a civil registry office (ZAGS). Key works included:
- Restoration of authentic façade finishes, including exposed facing brickwork.
- Restoration of brick gates with reconstruction of wooden double-leaf fillings.
- Recreation of door and window fillings with historical glazing.
- Restoration of a brick chimney with a metal weather vane.
- Installation of a drainage system with decorative intake funnels.
- Construction of site fencing.
The adaptive reuse preserves the volumetric and spatial structure while accommodating administrative functions. The completed project promotes cultural heritage awareness and accessibility.
