Best Implemented Apartment / Private House Interior Design Project
About the project (provided by the applicant)
This 65 sq.m apartment in the center of Moscow was designed for a young man and includes an entrance hall, an open-plan kitchen and living area, a bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom. The main goal was to create a timeless interior with the potential for easy transformation. The kitchen and living room were combined into a single open space featuring a large kitchen island and a TV area. The overall color scheme is black and white, while French herringbone parquet flooring softens the atmosphere. The main color accent is a set of terracotta leather chairs from Boconcept. Small pendant lights hang above the island. In the TV zone, a modular sofa and a large bookshelf for a personal library were added. The bedroom is separated from the kitchen-living area by sliding doors installed on both sides of the room, allowing convenient access to both the bathroom and the living area. The doors provide privacy while still letting in natural light. Throughout the apartment, shadow gap skirting boards were used along the floor and ceiling, along with integrated LED lighting.
