“Mountain Cabin,” project by Madina Mavlyutova

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The project “Mountain Cabin” is executed in watercolor and fineliner. Its location on a rocky mountain site with a pronounced elevation drop defines the building’s concept, aimed at harmonious integration into the natural landscape. Natural materials—stone and wood—are used in the architecture to ensure seamless blending with the surroundings. Steep pitched roofs extending to the ground increase the ceiling height, adding coziness to the interior, while large panoramic windows let in abundant sunlight and provide views of the mountain scenery.
The cabin’s layout was carefully designed with functional zoning in mind. The lower level houses the kitchen and living areas. The middle level includes a storage room and corridor area with a vestibule, creating a smooth transition between public and private spaces. The upper floor is reserved for bedrooms, each equipped with its own bathroom, ensuring convenience and comfort.
