The care center for nutrition in Chad is a thoughtfully designed facility aimed at providing essential healthcare services for malnourished individuals in a sustainable and cost-effective way. Utilizing local materials and passive energy design, the center addresses both environmental and operational challenges in rural Chad while ensuring accessibility and comfort for all users, including those with disabilities.
Sustainable Materials: Built using locally sourced earth blocks and clay for low-cost and effective thermal insulation.
Passive Energy Design: Maximizes natural lighting and ventilation to reduce energy use, with large windows and vents for airflow.
Solar Power: Solar panels provide clean, reliable energy for essential equipment and lighting.
Accessibility: Designed with ramps and wide corridors to accommodate wheelchair users.
Spacious Layout: Two large halls for men and women, ensuring privacy and comfort in a well-ventilated space.
