Museon Park Pavilion

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The pavilion project in Museon Park of Arts is located on the site of the existing “School” pavilion, scheduled for demolition.
The goal was to create a pavilion for small gatherings, lectures, and screenings, while also designing a unique landmark for a unique park — a place of attraction and gathering for visitors.
The pavilion can be used not only as an enclosed space but also as a rooftop venue functioning both as an observation deck and as an open-air lecture hall.
The structure is planned to be built from CLT panels, an innovative wooden material.
The interiors follow the overall architectural image and are also finished in wood. Tiered benches for visitors are mostly placed on a sloping surface.
The architectural language of the pavilion draws on the ideas of Soviet avant-garde graphics and architecture of the 1920s–1930s — a pioneering movement that sought radical changes in artistic form and content.
