Na Dekabristov Quarter, Tower Building
Category
Best Implemented Project of Residential or Mixed-Use Estate
About the project (provided by the applicant)
Na Dekabristov Quarter is a residential district in the center of Novosibirsk. Its architectural landmark is a tower with an urban garden and a view of the river. The design is based on the principles of neoclassicism with an emphasis on simplicity of form and laconic décor. The architects used a strict façade with a regular grid in a calm beige-gray color scheme. All elements are arranged symmetrically and repeated.
The façade is clad with large-format panels made of architectural concrete. Around 800 panels of various configurations (a total of 80 types) were required. A typical panel measures 3.5 x 6.9 meters and weighs about 5 tons.
The first floors accommodate a retail and office gallery. From the third to the seventh floor, office premises are designed. The remaining floors are residential. The 23rd floor houses a penthouse with a private elevator.
The courtyard is organized as an open green space located on the roof of the parking facility.
