Apartment on the Neva River

About the project (provided by the applicant)
This interior combines classical solutions with contemporary functional furniture. The clients — a Moscow family with a daughter — chose a St. Petersburg residential complex, and the apartment was meant to embody the cultural code of the Northern capital. Classical design elements and proximity to the Neva helped achieve this.
The interior is created in a natural palette and filled with natural materials. The walls are enhanced with moldings and plaster ornamentation, providing a classical foundation. Elena selected complex pastel shades that appealed to the clients and fit seamlessly into the overall concept.
Upon entering the apartment, you first see the spacious kitchen-living room and wardrobe. Hidden behind concealed doors are the quieter zones: the residents’ bedrooms. This makes the project more complex than it appears at first glance. A concealed veneered door is integrated into Italian-made furniture, creating the effect of a continuous wall.
The result is a neoclassical interior where conservative solutions harmonize with contemporary furniture and fresh ideas.
