About the project (provided by the applicant)
The design reinterprets Niavaran’s historical identity, rooted in gardening and fruit trading, blending collective memory with contemporary needs.
Visitors experience a multi-sensory journey through the dried fruit production and sales area, linking production, narrative, and consumption.
On the west side, a gallery showcases old Niavaran images on reed panels, recalling the area’s past as a land of reeds – ‘Ni-Avaran.’
The first floor features a boutique hotel with independent access, providing modern comfort while preserving historical continuity.
A multi-layered project connecting work, life, and memory.
