Project
Architectural Lighting of the NOVATEK Headquarters Building
Category
Best Implemented Architectural Lighting Project in Russia
About the project (provided by the applicant)
On Leninsky Prospekt in Moscow, the headquarters of NOVATEK glimmers like a crystal, a masterpiece of architecture where flawless functionality merges in harmony with contemporary design. Five towers, unified beneath a lightweight translucent shell, form an integrated ensemble of 2,000 m² with a dynamic façade, where every curve and window rhythm is meticulously calculated.
At the heart of the complex lies an atrium with a revolutionary roof made of 285 unique triangular insulating glass units with load-bearing functions. The Spanish granite used for the façades, adorned with ribbed cornices, lends the building a noble monumentality.
But the true magic begins at nightfall, when the carefully designed lighting system comes to life: linear luminaires provide a delicate contour glow, flexible fixtures follow the curves of the façade, and ground-mounted luminaires add depth and dimension.
The result is a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow that accentuates the building’s complex geometry and rich textures.
