In the 2010s, the structural scheme of the mosque was partially restored, including the vaulted ceilings of the second floor.
The building’s layout corresponds to classic Tatar mosques: two prayer halls on the second floor, a staircase in the northern part, and utility rooms on the first floor. Wooden service buildings were located on the north and east sides of the mosque.
During restoration works, later additions were dismantled, and the minaret, historical two-hall layout, and two-flight staircase were restored. The restored historical appearance emphasizes the mosque’s historical, cultural, and religious significance. Temporary structures necessary for the functioning of the religious site and ablution facilities were also arranged. Interiors — stucco, stained glass, tiles, carpets — were made according to historical analogs using traditional Tatar ornaments.

Over 10 years, ARKESH has restored monuments in the Republic of Tatarstan, Chuvash Republic, and Mari El Republic. The main goal is to preserve heritage objects while adapting them to a modern environment, addressing the owners’ needs.
