Solo Exhibition by Vlad Mukhanov “Observers”

Best Implemented Project of Temporary or Permanent Museum Exposition
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The exhibition “Observers” by sculptor Vlad Mukhanov was held from November 27, 2024, to April 6, 2025. Bright zoomorphic sculptures filled five windows facing Nevsky Prospect.
In his works, the artist elegantly combines the heritage of the academic school, an affinity for pop art, and modern 3D technologies. Joyful colors, forms inspired by consumer goods, and the exhibition’s overall optimistic mood do not conceal pressing questions: can we cope with the growing information boom and the helplessness of the bewildered observer?
Thanks to mirrored elements, reflection becomes part of a constantly changing object, borrowing its content from the surrounding reality. The dynamically shifting image in the mirror corresponds to the pace of modern city life and the endless stream of informational noise.
