Project
OilLab by RCC Gas Station

Category
Best Implemented Project of Public Building or Facility

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The gas station is the first in the planned OilLab by RCC network, located on Arkhangela Mikhaila Street in Yekaterinburg. The project represents a bold architectural statement, going beyond purely utilitarian solutions. The concept is based on symbols of speed and dynamism, expressed through concise forms and striking details.

A key motif in the design is the lightning bolt, reflected in the gas station’s silhouette, the rhythm of the columns, the geometry of the canopy, and the lighting fixtures, evoking the silhouette of a car captured with a long-exposure photograph. Elongated light strips emphasize the idea of headlights stretching across the frame.
