About the project (provided by the applicant)
The creation of these objects is based on a principle introduced by Benoit Mandelbrot in 1975. He formulated the equation Z (n+1) = Zn² + C in the space of complex numbers, describing the fractal principle of nature. Today, mathematicians have extended this formula into the space of four-dimensional numbers—quaternions.
All objects, enclosed within a transparent medium of epoxy resin, are volumetric “shadows” of four-dimensional fractals created using 3D printing. This series represents a more complex organization of geometry, based on algorithms derived from studying natural systems. Owing to this, the works appear uncrafted by human hands and evoke associations with organic forms.
