“Onega” House from the “Russian North” Standard Series
Category
Best Project of Private Residence
About the project (provided by the applicant)
“Onega” is a single-story house with an area of 155 sq.m, combining countryside comfort with motifs of a traditional brick estate in a quiet provincial setting, reinterpreted in a modern way.
The house is ideal for a family of two adults and a child, or a couple with elderly parents.
From under the two-car canopy, one can access the main entrance. A spacious, bright hallway with a large wardrobe/luggage room and a guest bathroom leads to the living room. The living room opens onto a covered cozy outdoor terrace overlooking the inner courtyard. The kitchen can be isolated from the living room using sliding doors. Private rooms are located at opposite ends of the house, ensuring privacy. Bedrooms have separate bathrooms, wardrobe areas, and workspaces. The master bedroom also features French balconies with garden views.
The house is built with brick walls finished with stone. The roof is multi-pitched, covered with standing-seam galvanized steel.
