Project
Design of the Open City Exhibition

Nomination
Best Implemented Project of Temporary or Permanent Museum Exposition

About the project
The word “open” means “unfinished” or “in progress.” An open city is a place going through modification or being under construction. However, regular development requires a fixed coordinate grid: on the one hand, a set of clear rules, and on the other – a program of development.
The design concept comprised various structural elements like safety mesh pieces and laser levels. The layout features a distinct system of exhibits location, implying some freedom of arrangement.
