Project
Apartment in Palevsky residential estate

Nomination
Best Implemented Interior Design Project Using Works of Art

About the project
The low-rise houses of the Palevsky housing development in the south-east of St. Petersburg cluster around green yards. At the beginning of the last century, this place embodied the new idea of a garden city.

Most of the architectural and design features of the apartment’s interior are geared to preserving the genius loci. For example, the burglar bars on the window have the same pattern as the fence around the development.

Most of the furniture and lamps were designed by local manufacturers, and the paintings and drawings were created of young St. Petersburg-based artists: Arseny Nefedov, Veronika Ivashkevich and Yulia Ovanesyan.
