Project
Chamber Music Hall “Polis”
Category
Best Architectural Project Created with Hand-Drawn Graphics
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The Chamber Music Hall is inspired by Roman temples. It is composed of several “boxes,” each distinguished by its material and texture. Every part has its own timbral character, yet together they form a unified composition. Columns set the rhythm, perceived as polyphony.
The name “Polis” reflects the idea of multiplicity united into a system: columns, volumes, and materials interact to create order and rhythm even before the first notes are played.
