The design site is located in the Krasnogvardeysky industrial district, where redevelopment of the territory is underway. The multi-section residential complex is situated on the embankment of the Okhta River in the Porokhovye district of St. Petersburg.
The project is aimed at a comprehensive improvement of the urban environment: renovation of industrial areas, development of peripheral districts, preservation of architectural monuments, and integration of the Okhta River embankment into the city’s green framework.
The spatial and architectural solutions are determined by the shape and dimensions of the site, as well as natural, historical factors of the location, and fire safety regulations.
The result is a multi-section residential complex with its main façade facing the embankment, distinguished by a complex stepped composition that gives the building visual scale and expressiveness.
