About the project
The house is intended for a family of several generations, who love spending time together and are often visited by their friends. The design is centered on the owners’ interests, so apart from the spacious house, there are also a guest house, a freestanding building housing a gym, and sports grounds. The living room, which can sit the whole family and their guests, is located in a separate volume. This double-height space is airy, and its French windows let in the beauty of the forest growing on and around the area. A highlight of the project is that the buildings are interconnected in two different ways: by the private spaces on the second floor, and by the paths across the area and the lawn.
