The project includes the vertical expansion of a so-called khrushchevka – a Soviet era residential building – using prefabricated concrete panels. According to the authors, the money obtained from selling the apartments on the added floors should then be used to repair the building’s common areas, such as the entrance zone, the entrance lobby, and the courtyard. The money can also be used to install a panoramic elevator and set up a rooftop garden, or an outdoor terrace for the residents.
