Project
Residence in Repinskoye
Category
Best Implemented Project of Private Residence
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The concept of the house is based on perceiving the dwelling and the surrounding plot as a single space for living “on the ground.” The residential building is designed as a flowing single-level space where functional zones smoothly transition into one another. The interaction between interior and exterior is achieved through the use of panoramic aluminum windows.
The walls of the house are finished with dark facing brick featuring relief 3D masonry, which allows for a diverse perception of surface texture depending on the exterior lighting. Wooden wall elements, soffits, and terraces contrast with the dark volume of the building, emphasizing and highlighting details of the architectural composition.
The adjoining lawns, a variety of plants differing in color and form across functional zones of the site, and decorative paving designed using an “architectural grid” create an additional comfortable space that the owners use in their daily life.
