Revitalization and beautification for an industrial site

Best Project of Public Space by a Student

About the project
The Red Banner is a complex of industrial facilities in the historical center of the city. It includes an electric power station (a landmark of regional significance), as well as workshops dating back to 1920-30s (newly recovered cultural heritage), a large postwar building, and some minor blocks. No preventive arrangements have been made for upkeep, conservation or revitalization of these facilities. The author believes this site can be transformed into a leisure and recreation venue for the citizens, benefiting both the city and investors.
