Project
Rhythm of Time — a successfully implemented student project
Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant)
This small architectural form was created with the intention of giving the community a new space for rest and recreation. The concept is based on the history of the flow of time — from the past to the present and into the future. Through the language of architectural form and choice of materials, the project tells the story of the development of society and of each individual: from the simplicity and strength of wood, symbolizing the past, to the flexibility and plasticity of plastic, as well as the durability of metal, embodying the present and the future.
The project was created with the hope that it would become a safe and comfortable place for both adults and children, as well as a small architectural accent in the public space of the district. The project was implemented in the settlement of Novoselye, Leningrad Region.
