About the project (provided by the applicant)
The main idea behind the coworking space at Sechenov University was to create a student hub that connects young people with major industry stakeholders while also offering a comfortable and productive workspace.
The space is divided into an entrance area with a reception, a café, an amphitheater, a coworking zone, meeting rooms, a conference hall, and office space.
The coworking space was designed in a contemporary style, with attention to functional zoning and the integration of the University’s corporate identity and colors.
The central coworking area and amphitheater are intended for daily individual and group work of members of the university’s entrepreneurial club, as well as meetings, masterclasses, scientific and volunteer events, graduation programs, and film screenings. This active usage required the application of durable materials and technical solutions. The interior features laminated MDF panels, magnetic and chalkboard finishes, acoustic ceilings, and sound-absorbing floor coverings.
