Interior Design Project for the Library at the Selivanovsky Cultural Center
Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The design project for the library aims to create a multifunctional and aesthetically cohesive space that meets the needs of both regular users and visitors to the village. The core concept focuses on preserving and reinterpreting the Stalinist Empire style—grand in character, yet adapted to meet contemporary standards of comfort and functionality. Special attention was paid to zoning: working, leisure, and reading areas are organized with logical flow and user convenience in mind. Layout modifications aim to improve space efficiency, enhance navigation, and foster a welcoming atmosphere. The renovated library becomes not only a repository of knowledge but also a cultural hub for communication, development, and inspiration.
