The architectural concept of the exhibition is based on the scientific framework developed by the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve.
The exhibition features over 200 relics and works spanning from the 14th century to the early 21st century, drawn from fifteen museum collections across Russia. Each hall has its own character, built around key exhibits and designed according to museum display standards, including temperature and humidity control, materials, and lighting.
Concepts for multimedia works were developed to add an additional interpretive and artistic layer to the exhibition, carefully integrated into the architecture without interfering with the perception of the original pieces, especially paintings.
The visitor’s journey through the exhibition is a unique architectural and scenographic experience, enhanced by light dramaturgy, audio accompaniment, as well as interactive and immersive installations.
