Fachwerk SPA Millennium

Best Implemented Project of Private Residence
About the project (provided by the applicant)
This two-story house was created using fachwerk technology with a glued laminated timber frame. The main task was functional zoning without intersecting flows, in accordance with the usage scheme provided by the client. The architectural context required compliance with the settlement’s regulations and stylistic harmony with the stone house on the site.
The project includes a SPA block with three steam rooms, a lounge area with a jacuzzi and fireplace, a gym, a massage room, a wine hall, guest rooms, a residential unit for staff, storage rooms, and the owner’s private office with access to a garden court.
Given the dense development and limited plot area, exploited roofs were used: a terrace with a pergola, a garden court, and a solarium. The fachwerk system with a visible frame made it possible to create an expressive composition with tiered tectonics. Panoramic glazing visually integrates the interior with the surrounding nature, filling the house with light and offering picturesque views.
