About the project
Reconstruction of the State Philharmonia is one of the most remarkable projects in Petrozavodsk over the recent years. The three-storey building constructed in 1969 for the Communist party’s meetings, stands in the center of the city. The authors suggest major rearrangement of its interior premises with the Big hall extension, addition of a new Minor hall and of a children’s hall, too. A small restaurant is designed in the ground floor. Totally renewed facades and the surrounding grounds will make the building a local landmark and attract all the classical music lovers, including locals and tourists.
