Project
Fachwerk «Sukhodolskoe»
Category
Best Implemented Project of Private Residence
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The house is designed using glued laminated timber in the traditional fachwerk technology. The combination of technological precision, sustainability, and the expressive plasticity of the wooden frame became not only the structural but also the artistic code of the project.
The main task was to integrate a modern, visually lightweight, and high-tech house harmoniously into the natural coastal landscape while preserving open views and the natural terrain.
A 2×2-meter planning module set the rhythm of the façades: a slender order of columns and panoramic glazing. The architectural plasticity of the volume is shaped by multi-level roofs accented with visible paired beams. The spatial composition is complemented by terraces, a pergola, covered passages, and an open CartPort area.
Inside, the private and guest areas are separated by an intimate living room with a fireplace and a double-height kitchen opening onto the terrace. Through glazing fills the house with light, framing sunny southern views and calm northern panoramas of the lake.
